Do you find your laptop too heavy to carry around? If so, you may like a new laptop from Acer that weighs almost nothing. At the IFA 2026 technology exhibition, Acer introduced a new laptop called the Swift Blade 14.
It could be described as the world’s lightest laptop or at least one of the lightest laptops available globally. Japan’s Fujitsu also has a Lifebook laptop that is even lighter but it is available only in the Japanese market.
Acer however has introduced the Swift Blade 14 for the global market and the laptop weighs just 799 grams. Carbon fiber and magnesium-aluminum have been used in its construction to keep the device as lightweight as possible.
The laptop features a 14-inch OLED display and is powered by an Intel Core Series 3 CPU along with 12GB of RAM. The company has not yet revealed details about its other features. Similarly, Acer has not announced the laptop’s price or the date when it will go on sale.
