Satterley faced Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship at the event on Saturday at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, near Chicago. Andrade retained the title after countering Satterley’s Brutalizer submission attempt into a pin.
AEW said in a statement: “All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac.”
The company said Satterley, a native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to compete for wrestling organisations around the world.
AEW did not provide a cause of death or further details about the circumstances.
Tony Khan, AEW’s president and chief executive, paid tribute to Satterley on X, describing him as a “beloved husband & friend” and praising his wrestling knowledge, athleticism, professionalism and dedication to the sport.

“May Ben rest in peace,” Khan wrote.
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), the Mexican wrestling promotion, also paid tribute to Satterley, saying it would remember his “extraordinary professionalism, dedication, and respect” during his appearances in Mexico.
Satterley joined AEW in 2019 and held multiple championships, including the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, now known as the AEW International Championship, and the AEW World Trios Championship.
Before joining AEW, Satterley competed for World Wrestling Entertainment, where he performed as Neville, as well as New Japan Pro-Wrestling and CMLL.
AEW said Satterley had competed in “some of the most memorable matches in AEW history”.
