Ahsan Iqbal hails Quantum Valley Pakistan launch

Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has described the launch of Quantum Valley Pakistan as a proud moment for the country, saying the initiative would help strengthen Pakistan’s capabilities in emerging and advanced technologies.

Speaking at the launch ceremony held in Islamabad, Iqbal said Pakistan was ready to embrace innovation and take meaningful steps towards developing its technological potential. Several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were also signed during the ceremony, aimed at promoting cooperation in areas related to technology, innovation and skills development.

The federal minister said the establishment of Quantum Valley Pakistan represented an important step towards enhancing the country’s capacity in modern and advanced technologies. He expressed hope that the facilities and opportunities being created through the initiative would enable a growing number of young Pakistanis to acquire relevant technological skills and benefit from emerging opportunities.

Iqbal emphasised the importance of equipping the country’s youth with modern technological expertise, saying investment in young people was essential for Pakistan’s future development. He said initiatives focused on innovation and advanced technologies could help create new opportunities for young people while contributing to the country’s broader technological progress.

He described Quantum Valley Pakistan as a significant move towards preparing the younger generation for a rapidly changing technological landscape. According to the minister, providing young people with access to advanced technology, training and innovation platforms would help strengthen Pakistan’s human capital and support the country’s ambitions in the digital and technology sectors.

Iqbal also said that Pakistan had achieved important milestones over the past two years, expressing gratitude to Allah Almighty for the progress made during this period.
