Alex Consani turns Mona Lisa into a Halloween costume

Model Alex Consani caught social media attention with an unusual Halloween costume inspired by one of the world’s most recognisable paintings, the Mona Lisa.

Consani put a playful twist on Leonardo da Vinci’s famous artwork by recreating its distinctive portrait style. Her costume featured a canvas-like frame around her face, along with folded hands to imitate the painting’s iconic pose.

The creative transformation quickly became a talking point online, adding Consani to the list of celebrities who celebrated Halloween with memorable looks.

The model’s costume comes after another major milestone in her fashion career. She recently walked the Victoria’s Secret runway for the third consecutive year, following her debut at the show in 2024.

Consani began modelling at the age of 12 and later made history as the first transgender model to win Model of the Year at the Fashion Awards.

Beyond the fashion world, she has also explored acting and music projects. She appeared as the witch Morwenna in the 13th season of American Horror Story and featured in music videos for artists including Charli XCX and Doja Cat.

Consani was not the only public figure to draw attention with a Halloween transformation. TODAY anchor Savannah Guthrie also embraced a popular television character, dressing up as Rachel Green from the hit sitcom Friends.

Guthrie received help from the wig department at Saturday Night Live to recreate Jennifer Aniston’s much-loved character. Her look also attracted praise and reactions across social media.
