Aliza Sultan’s Aap Ki Izzat posts spark Feroze buzz

Pakistani actress and social media personality Aliza Sultan has sparked a fresh wave of discussion online after sharing scenes from the popular drama Aap Ki Izzat, with fans linking her posts to her own past experiences.

Written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Saife Hassan, Aap Ki Izzat stars Urwa Hocane, Ahsan Khan and Saniya Saeed. The drama follows Bina and Tabish, a married couple whose relationship changes dramatically after Tabish gains wealth and begins to look down on his wife.

The show has particularly attracted attention for its portrayal of emotional abuse, body-shaming and the way Bina’s years of contribution as a wife and mother are questioned by her husband.

Recent episodes featuring Bina confronting Tabish over his behaviour have gone viral on social media. Among those who shared clips from the drama was Aliza Sultan, who reposted several scenes on her Instagram Stories.

Alongside one of the clips, Aliza shared a statement about giving everything to people who eventually fail to value it. Although she did not directly name anyone, the post prompted some social media users to interpret it as a reference to her own previous marriage.

Aliza also shared scenes in which Bina challenges Tabish over his attitude towards her and questions how he could dismiss her contribution after 14 years of marriage.

Another clip reposted by Aliza showed Bina responding to a remark about her children, adding further fuel to speculation that the scenes resonated with the actress on a personal level.

Her posts quickly drew reactions from some of the followers of her former husband, actor Feroze Khan. Several users accused Aliza of indirectly criticising him through the drama’s scenes, while others urged her to stop discussing her past relationship publicly.
