Azad Kashmir: Islamabad police employee tortured by outlawed committee miscreants

Azad Kashmir Police have confirmed that an Islamabad Police employee was tortured by miscreants belonging to a banned committee. On July 14, the employee, identified as Ehtesham Masih, was forcibly removed from a vehicle in Rawalakot by the individuals.

According to the AJK Police, the members of the banned committee tortured the officer, recorded a misleading video of the incident, and subsequently spread it online. Law enforcement agencies are currently conducting an investigation to identify both the perpetrators of the violence and the individuals responsible for creating and circulating the video.

Azad Kashmir Police have stated that strict legal action will be taken against all those involved in the incident in accordance with the rules. Authorities emphasised that no individual or group will be permitted to spread mischief, false information, or incite hostility against state institutions.
