The provincial government of Balochistan is set to unveil its budget for the upcoming fiscal year on June 17, with Finance Minister Shoaib Nosherwani scheduled to present the financial plan before the provincial assembly.

According to an official notification issued by the Balochistan Assembly Secretariat, the budget session will take place at 4:00 PM at the Assembly Secretariat in Quetta. During the sitting, lawmakers will deliberate not only on the budget proposals but also on a range of key financial and administrative matters expected to shape the province’s development priorities for the new fiscal year.

In preparation for the session, the secretariat has announced strict security and access protocols. Entry to the assembly premises will be allowed only to authorized individuals holding official entry cards, including government officers, departmental representatives, and accredited members of the print and electronic media.

Authorities have further tightened security by imposing a complete ban on private and government armed guards inside the Assembly Secretariat. Additionally, general public access will remain fully restricted throughout the budget session due to prevailing security concerns.

The secretariat has instructed all relevant departments and personnel to strictly comply with the issued guidelines and security procedures. Officials indicated that enhanced security arrangements will also be deployed around the Assembly building and adjoining areas to ensure smooth conduct of the proceedings.
