British actress Bonnie Wright has said her newborn son, Aster, has visited hospital six times in his first five weeks of life while receiving treatment for a medical condition his parents knew about before his birth.
Wright, 35, who played Ginny Weasley in the “Harry Potter” films, shared the update in an Instagram post on Friday, November 6.
“Our sweet little Aster has been to the hospital 6 times in his 5 weeks of life. Getting treatment for a condition we knew he’d be born with,” she wrote.
“He is such a strong, chill little baby,” she added.
Wright did not disclose further details about the condition.
The actress also thanked family and friends for supporting her family, including by helping care for Aster’s three-year-old brother, Elio.
“Feeling so lucky to have such supportive family and friends,” she wrote. “Helping take Elio to preschool, cooking us meals, checking in on us. The village is possible, text/call your pals.”
Wright and her husband, Andrew Lococo, welcomed Aster on September 28. She announced his birth on Instagram in October. The couple married in 2022.
