Can it really beat an AC?

During the hot summer months people use different ways to stay cool. Some rely on fans while others use air conditioners. Fans may not provide enough relief during extreme heat while running an AC for long hours can lead to high electricity bills.

An air cooler offers a middle option. It can provide cool air while using less electricity than an AC and it is usually more affordable.

A powerful new air cooler

Several new air cooler models are now available in the market including some locally made designs. One unusual model has been nicknamed the “Baahubali Cooler” because of its claimed cooling power. According to reports the cooler is designed to provide strong cooling and is even being compared with air conditioners.

Four models available

The company behind the cooler has reportedly introduced four models in different sizes.  Customers can choose a model based on the height and space available in their homes.

Fiber body for added safety

One of its main features is its fiber body. The makers claim that this design reduces the risk of electric shock compared with coolers made from metal.

Compact design

Despite its strong cooling claims the cooler is said to have a practical size and does not take up too much space. This makes it suitable for homes where space is limited.

Price of the Baahubali Cooler

According to reports the cooler is available in markets in Rajasthan, India with prices ranging from 8,000 to 15,000 Indian rupees, which is roughly Rs 27,000 to Rs 50,000 in Pakistani currency.

However claims that it 

can cool as effectively as an AC should be considered carefully as actual performance depends on the room weather humidity and ventilation.
