Dana Tran has opened up about raising her daughter, Love, as the little girl celebrates her fourth birthday. The mother praised her daughter’s funny personality, emotional maturity and caring nature.
Speaking ahead of Love’s birthday on October 15, Tran revealed that family members often describe the child as an “old soul” because of the way she behaves. She said Love sometimes acts like an elderly person despite her young age.
Tran explained that her daughter naturally makes people laugh without even trying. She described Love as energetic and full of character, adding that people are often drawn to her personality.
The cybersecurity expert also highlighted Love’s empathy towards others. According to Tran, her daughter is quick to comfort classmates when they become upset or start crying.
Tran said Love’s teacher has often expressed surprise at the child’s mature behaviour. She believes that spending time with her mother and older siblings, who are all adults, may have contributed to her development.
To mark the occasion, Tran shared photographs from a birthday photoshoot featuring the mother and daughter on the sunny beaches of Southern California. The pictures reflected their close relationship and the special bond they have built over the years.
Cooking together has become one of their favourite activities. Tran described the tradition as an important part of their relationship and revealed that Love learned to crack an egg at around one year old.
She added that she has deliberately encouraged her daughter to develop an early understanding of cooking, making the kitchen an important place for learning and spending quality time together.
Meanwhile, Love continues to maintain a relationship with her father, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently serving a prison sentence. Tran previously told Us Weekly that her daughter recognises her father and knows his music but does not fully understand his current circumstances.
Tran described her co-parenting relationship with Diddy as positive and amicable, stressing that their daughter remains the priority. She also praised Diddy’s older children for making an effort to maintain a close relationship with their youngest half-sister.
As Love turns four, Tran’s reflections offer a glimpse into their family life, highlighting the importance of empathy, shared traditions and strong family connections in her daughter’s upbringing.
