Apple TV has renewed its dark comedy thriller Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed for a second season, giving fans another chapter of the suspense-filled series.
According to reports, work on the second season’s scripts is already underway. Production is expected to begin in the first half of 2027.
The series stars Emmy-winning actress Tatiana Maslany and Jake Johnson. It follows Paula, a newly divorced mother whose life takes an unexpected and dangerous turn after she believes she has witnessed a crime.
As Paula begins investigating, she becomes entangled in a disturbing web of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. At the same time, she struggles with a custody battle and questions about her own identity.
Her search for the truth could expose a much wider conspiracy. It also offers her a chance to rebuild her family life and rediscover herself amid the growing danger.
The show features a supporting cast that includes Murray Bartlett, Dolly De Leon, Brandon Flynn, Jessy Hodges, Jon Michael Hill, Charlie Hall, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg and Nola Wallace.
Created by David J. Rosen, who also serves as showrunner, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed combines family drama, mystery and dark humour. The renewal signals that the story will continue, although further details about the second season’s plot and release date have yet to be announced.
