Speaking to BuzzFeed at the London premiere of his new film Digger, the actor praised the pop star and said it would be “amazing to work” with her.

When asked whether he would consider starring in one of Swift’s music videos, Cruise replied, “It would be amazing to work with her on anything.”

“I make movies, you know, let’s go make a movie,” the Mission: Impossible star added.

Cruise went on to praise Swift’s talents, saying, “I think she’s such a talent in anything she does. She’s absolutely brilliant. She’s a brilliant writer. Brilliant.”

He also suggested that Swift could have a future as a feature-film director if she decided to pursue filmmaking.

Cruise and Swift’s friendship recently drew attention when they were seen together at a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on September 14. Cruise joined Swift in her private suite as she watched her husband, Travis Kelce, play against the Denver Broncos.

Speaking about their evening, Cruise previously told Extra, “She talked about football. We talked about movies. We talked about art. It was such a fantastic evening.”

“We had a lot of fun. She’s very extraordinary. I’ve followed her entire career, and I love the two of them and their whole family,” he added.

While Cruise’s comments have sparked interest in a potential collaboration, neither he nor Swift has announced plans for a movie together.
