Overall, thousands of tickets remain directly available on FIFA’s official portal. Meanwhile, investigations have been launched into ticket pricing in New York and New Jersey. Ticket prices for the World Cup final started at $4,185 which is equivalent to more than PKR 1.164 million.
The most expensive tickets have reached up to $8,680 which equals over PKR 2.4 million. The report further stated that FIFA was expecting $3 billion in revenue from tickets and hospitality. However, thousands of tickets for Saudi Arabia’s matches are still available and in many cases are being sold below face value.
