The Exchange Rates Committee of the Financial Markets Association of Pakistan (FMAP) on Monday released the latest official foreign currency exchange rates for forward cover of deposits, excluding FE-25 deposits.
The rates will be applicable for transactions based on the State Bank of Pakistan’s settlement value date of July 22, 2026. The daily bulletin provides benchmark exchange rates used by banks and financial institutions for eligible forward cover transactions.
According to the committee, the US dollar remained the highest traded foreign currency in Pakistan’s financial market, while the British pound, euro and Japanese yen were also listed in the latest schedule.
The exchange rates are issued regularly to facilitate financial institutions and market participants in conducting foreign exchange transactions and managing currency-related settlements.
