Hafizabad – Land Dispute Turns Into Double Murder

LAHORE/HAFIZABAD :
A family land dispute turned into a bloodbath in Kolo Tarar area of Hafizabad.

Two sons allegedly hacked their own father and his friend to death with axes.

According to police, the victim Siddique was having a dispute with his sons over agricultural land. His friend Nazir Ahmed Hanjra had come to mediate and settle the matter between father and sons.

During the talks, a heated argument broke out. Police says on the alleged instigation of their mother, the two sons picked up axes and attacked both men.

Siddique and his friend Nazir Ahmed died on the spot after receiving multiple axe blows.

A double murder case has been registered at Wanike Tarar Police Station on the complaint of the other son of the deceased. Both sons and their mother have been nominated in the FIR.

According to DPO Hafizabad, one accused has been arrested while raids are underway to arrest the remaining accused.

Bodies were shifted to the hospital for post-mortem and later handed over to the family. Police says investigation is underway and the challan will be submitted soon.
