Harry opposes Meghan’s plans for Lilibet’s TV debut

Meghan Markle’s plans for Princess Lilibet’s possible television appearance have reportedly sparked disagreement with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex recently announced that she will join Junior MasterChef Australia as a guest judge alongside Poh Ling Yeow. Her upcoming appearance has also raised speculation about whether Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could join her on the show.

Meghan has previously shared glimpses of her children helping her in the kitchen, suggesting they enjoy cooking together. Reports indicate that both children would be excited about participating in the family-friendly programme, particularly Lilibet, who is said to share her mother’s passion for cooking.

Meghan and her children are reportedly expected to travel to Australia in early 2027 for the filming. The proposed appearance, however, has allegedly raised concerns for Prince Harry.

According to reports, Harry is uncomfortable with the idea of bringing their children into the television spotlight, as it would mark a significant shift from the couple’s previous approach to protecting their privacy.

While Meghan is reportedly open to the possibility, Harry is said to oppose the idea, highlighting a difference of opinion over how much public exposure their children should receive.
