ICC unveils player of the month nominees for July awards

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominees for its latest Player of the Month awards, recognizing standout performances from men’s and women’s cricket over the past month.

In the men’s category, India’s Shubman Gill, Bangladesh’s Mosaddek Hossain, and New Zealand’s Nathan Smith have been shortlisted following a series of impressive displays for their respective teams.

Gill earned his nomination after continuing his rich run of form with the bat, while Mosaddek Hossain impressed with crucial all-round performances. Nathan Smith also secured a place on the shortlist after making a significant impact with consistent performances for New Zealand.

The women’s Player of the Month race features England’s Danni Wyatt, India’s Sree Charani, and Scotland’s Kathryn. The trio delivered standout performances in international cricket, earning recognition from the ICC selection panel.

The ICC Player of the Month awards celebrate the world’s best individual performances across all formats of international cricket. Fans will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite nominees before the winners are officially announced.
