During Glamorgan’s first innings, the Indian spinner delivered only three balls. With his third and final delivery, Suthar bowled No. 11 batter Mir Hamza bringing Glamorgan’s innings to an end at 69 runs.

Suthar returned to the attack in Glamorgan’s second innings and bowled two complete overs. He conceded no runs and dismissed Chris Cook and Jamie McIlroy both clean bowled.

His final match figures were an astonishing 2.3 overs, two maidens, zero runs and three wickets. This means every one of the 15 deliveries he bowled in the match was a dot ball.

The performance placed Suthar in the record books. He became only the second bowler in first-class cricket history to take at least one wicket in both innings of a match while conceding absolutely no runs.

The only previous bowler to achieve the feat was Leicestershire’s Tom Hayward who accomplished it against Surrey in 1895.

Suthar’s performance is particularly remarkable because of the extremely limited number of deliveries he needed to make an impact. Despite bowling just 15 balls, he managed to dismiss three batters and play a role in ending Glamorgan’s innings.

Warwickshire dominated the match and secured a massive victory by an innings and 257 runs.
