ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has intensified its diplomatic engagement on rapidly evolving Middle East developments, with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar holding separate discussions with his Turkish and Egyptian counterparts to review regional tensions and growing signs of progress in talks between the United States and Iran.
According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dar spoke by telephone with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Saturday night as diplomatic efforts across the region continue to gather pace.

During his conversation with Fidan, the two leaders exchanged views on the latest regional developments and welcomed what they described as encouraging progress toward an understanding between Washington and Tehran. Both sides expressed hope that ongoing diplomatic efforts would help reduce tensions and create conditions for long-term peace and stability across the Middle East.
The Pakistani and Turkish foreign ministers also agreed to remain in close coordination as developments continue to unfold.
In a separate call with Abdelatty, Dar reviewed the broader regional situation and discussed recent diplomatic movement between the United States and Iran. The two officials emphasized the importance of dialogue and peaceful engagement, expressing optimism that current efforts could contribute to enhanced security and stability throughout the region.

Officials said both countries agreed to maintain regular communication and consultations in the coming days.
The conversations form part of Pakistan’s wider diplomatic outreach regarding developments in the Middle East. Earlier, Dar also held discussions with Ignazio Cassis and Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, focusing on peace initiatives and diplomatic momentum in the region.
Pakistan has consistently supported dialogue, negotiation, and peaceful conflict resolution, particularly amid rising geopolitical tensions affecting regional and global stability.
Diplomatic observers believe the recent flurry of high-level contacts reflects growing international interest in any potential breakthrough between the United States and Iran, a development that could have far-reaching implications for Middle Eastern security, global energy markets, and international relations.
While no formal agreement has yet been announced, officials from several countries are closely monitoring developments and encouraging continued engagement. For Pakistan, the consultations underscore its commitment to regional peace and its efforts to remain actively involved in diplomatic initiatives aimed at reducing tensions and promoting stability across the wider Middle East.
