Israel agrees to release five Lebanese detainees

BEIRUT: Israel has agreed to release five Lebanese detainees as part of ongoing efforts to ease tensions between the two countries, according to reports from Lebanese sources.

The development emerged during negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, with the United States playing a mediating role in talks aimed at reducing tensions along the volatile border.
