Karachi robbers snatch Rs700,000 phone at food street

Two motorcycle-riding suspects snatched a mobile phone worth Rs700,000 from a citizen at the Sindhi Muslim Society Food Walk in Karachi and fled the scene.

A video statement recorded by the victim after the incident has gone viral on social media, drawing attention to the street crime.

According to the victim, identified as Salal, he had visited the food street and was recording a video when two suspects arrived on a motorcycle. The man sitting on the rear seat suddenly snatched his mobile phone and escaped with his accomplice.

The stolen phone was worth approximately Rs700,000, making it a significant financial loss for the victim.

According to police, a case has been registered at the Ferozabad police station on the complaint of the affected citizen.

The FIR states that the robbery took place at around 1am on November 4. The victim also reported the incident to the police emergency helpline 15.

Police have registered the case and initiated legal proceedings to trace the suspects and recover the stolen mobile phone.
