Karan Tacker reveals unnoticed cameo in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Shah Rukh Khan’s 2008 romantic comedy Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi featured a special appearance by another actor who went largely unnoticed by audiences. While the film remains memorable for its heartwarming storyline and the pairing of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, television actor Karan Tacker also appeared in a brief scene.

Karan, who later gained popularity through the television drama Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, recently opened up about his brief appearance in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and explained how the opportunity came his way.

His cameo appeared during the sequence in which Surinder takes Taani to watch a film at a theatre. While the main characters enjoy the experience, people can be seen dancing in the background. Karan was among those who appeared in the scene, making his presence easy to miss for viewers focused on the lead actors.

He explained that the opportunity came around 18 and a half years ago, when acting projects were limited and he was willing to audition for the roles available to him.

Karan revealed that he had auditioned for casting director Shanoo Sharma. The prospect of working with Yash Raj Films made the experience particularly exciting for him, as the production house was associated with some of Bollywood’s most prominent projects.
