Lady Gaga has sparked speculation that she may have entered a new chapter in her personal life after being photographed carrying a newborn baby alongside her fiancé, Michael Polansky, in Northern California.

The 40-year-old singer was reportedly seen holding the infant during an outing on Friday, September 11, while Polansky, 42, accompanied her. The images, obtained by Page Six, marked the first public sighting of Gaga with a newborn.

However, Gaga has not publicly announced the arrival of a baby, and details about the child remain unknown. Neither the singer nor Polansky has confirmed whether they have become parents.

The singer has also maintained a relatively low profile in recent months. According to a source cited by Page Six, Gaga has spent more time away from the public spotlight since completing her nearly nine-month Mayhem Ball tour in April.

The source said Gaga has rarely had the opportunity to enjoy a private life since becoming famous in her early twenties and suggested that she has been deliberately keeping a lower profile after the tour.

The insider also praised Polansky’s role in her life, describing their relationship as a supportive and secure environment for the singer.

Gaga has previously spoken openly about her desire to become a mother. In a 2025 interview with The New York Times, the singer said she had grown excited about parenthood after previously having concerns about it.

She explained that, if she became a mother, she would want her children to have the freedom to discover their own identities rather than feeling pressured to follow a predetermined path.
