Louis Partridge makes producing debut with one last summer

Louis Partridge is set to expand his career in the film industry with One Last Summer, an upcoming coming-of-age independent movie in which he will take on both leading acting and producing roles. The project marks the British actor’s debut as a producer, adding a new dimension to his growing career.

Best known for his role in Enola Holmes, Partridge will star alongside Mia Jenkins and Jude Carmichael in the film. Additional cast members are expected to be announced as the project progresses.

Set over a weekend in the scenic Tuscan countryside of Italy, One Last Summer centres on Milo, portrayed by Partridge, who returns to the home of his late, estranged father accompanied by his best friend, Zac, played by Carmichael.

During their stay, Milo is persuaded to go on a double date with two American travellers. What begins as an enjoyable encounter soon takes an unexpected turn, prompting the characters to reflect on their past experiences, their present identities and the choices shaping their futures.

The film explores the intensity of brief relationships during youth, alongside themes of self-discovery, personal growth and the emotional challenges of moving forward. Against the backdrop of the Italian countryside, the story examines how seemingly short-lived encounters can leave a lasting impression on young people.

Misha Citron has written and directed the project, collaborating with Partridge to produce the film under their production banner, Pipe Dream Films. The project also brings together producers Maya Nurmohamed and Saskia Steinberg of Blue Lobster Productions, alongside Jim Parks, known for his work on The Christophers.

Production on One Last Summer has recently wrapped in Tuscany, Italy. With filming complete, the project represents an important professional milestone for Partridge as he steps behind the camera to contribute to the filmmaking process.
