LAHORE:The Government of Punjab has appointed Maj. Gen. (R) Sohail Sabir as Vice Chancellor of the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore for a four-year term with immediate effect.
According to Notification No. SO(ME-II)-11/2026(UHS) issued by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, the appointment has been made by the Governor Punjab / Chancellor under Section 12(6) read with Section 9(7) of the UHS Ordinance, 2002, after furnishing of undertaking / affidavit.
The notification was issued by order of the Chancellor and signed by Section Officer (ME-II) Osama Javed.
