The Punjab government has announced financial assistance for the victims’ families as part of its relief efforts. Under the compensation package, the families of each deceased child will receive Rs2 million, while those injured in the incident will be provided Rs500,000 to help cover medical and other related expenses.

Maryam Nawaz personally handed over compensation cheques to the affected families during the visit. She also directed the relevant authorities to ensure that all injured victims receive the best possible medical treatment without delay.

The chief minister said the pain of the grieving parents was deeply felt and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting every affected family. She instructed officials to remain in close contact with the victims and ensure that all promised assistance is delivered promptly.

In addition to the financial aid, the provincial administration has been directed to monitor the medical condition of the injured and provide any additional support required for their recovery. Officials were also asked to facilitate the families in completing any necessary administrative procedures related to compensation.
