The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has opened an online portal for candidates who want to request a recount or review of their MDCAT 2026 results in Punjab.
The Medical and Dental College Admission Test was conducted across Punjab on September 20. Candidates can now apply for verification of their marks through the newly activated Recount and Review Portal.
Applications will be processed within five working days. Candidates must submit their requests by September 30, after which no further complaints will be accepted. The university’s decision on recounting or reviewing a result will be considered final.
Candidates can seek verification of different aspects of their results. These include the calculation of marks, the reading of their response sheets, answers included in the official answer key and questions they believe require review.
To submit an application, candidates must state the reason for requesting a review and upload their result card. They may also provide a carbon copy of their bubble sheet as supporting material.
Applicants are required to generate a bank challan, pay the prescribed fee and upload proof of payment before submitting the application. The request will then be sent to the UHS Examination Cell for processing.

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council had also instructed universities to establish a rechecking mechanism and publish the official answer key.
Officials said discrepancies can sometimes arise from incorrectly marked response sheets. MDCAT instructions state that improperly filled bubbles are treated as incorrect answers. Since the sheets are electronically processed, incomplete or unclear markings may result in an answer being recorded differently from what a candidate expected.
