The magazine, citing unnamed sources, said Meghan had been advised to remain “less accessible” and that the strategy was intended to generate anticipation around her public appearances and support her lifestyle brand, As Ever.

“She is deliberately biding her time and staying out of sight intentionally, but she’s also got plenty of things keeping her busy,” one source was quoted as saying.

The source said the aim was for Meghan to attract greater attention when she begins making more public appearances, rather than appearing frequently and risking what the source described as public fatigue.

Another unnamed source told the magazine that Meghan hoped for a “fantastic reception” when she returned to the spotlight and that the strategy was intended to help her attract attention alongside Catherine, Princess of Wales.

“Make no mistake, that is the goal,” the source was quoted as saying.

The claims have not been independently verified, and neither Meghan nor her representatives were quoted as confirming that she is pursuing such a strategy.

Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, returned to Britain with their two children in August, six years after moving from Britain to the United States. The couple are living privately in Britain and have no plans to resume official royal duties.

Meghan continues to operate her lifestyle brand, As Ever, which was launched in 2025.
