Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has explained why she turned down an invitation to walk in the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, saying the prospect of appearing in lingerie made her anxious.
Kerr, 43, was invited to return to the runway to mark 20 years since her debut as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She had previously appeared in the brand’s fashion show six times.

Kerr said she continued to feel uncomfortable despite trying to calm herself through meditation.
“Everyone’s in their underwear. I’m 43. I have four boys. I got this knot in my stomach and as much as I try to meditate and ease it, it was still there,” she said.
She said she realised that declining the invitation was the only way to resolve the feeling.
“The only way I could resolve that is to say, ‘You’re not going to do the show.’ How do you feel now?” she said.
Kerr said the feeling of unease subsided after she decided not to take part, confirming that she had made the right choice.
She has said she is at a different stage of her life but remains grateful for her time with the lingerie brand.
