CCTV Proves Cold-Blooded Hunt, Orphanage Unregistered, Child Fled After Torture and Was Chased Like Prey

MULTAN : In a major development in the Royal Orchard Society tragedy, a local court has handed over main accused Tauqeer Nazir to police on a four-day physical remand, while continuous raids are being conducted to arrest his accomplice Amjad Ali, including raids in Faisalabad.

Police sources confirmed that teams have been dispatched to Faisalabad and other locations after credible information about the whereabouts of the co-accused.

CHILD WAS TORTURED BEFORE BEING CRUSHED – NEW TESTIMONIES

According to statements given to police by the family of the deceased and by a child who was living with the victim in the orphanage and also working with the main accused, the main accused had also subjected the victim to physical torture.

Due to torture, the victim was not willing to go there, live there, or work there. The accused was not ready to give him leave at any cost or allow him to return to the orphanage.

This is the reason the child fled from there, and when the accused found out, he chased him in his car. The video clearly shows the child running for his life to save himself, while the main accused can be seen hunting the innocent child like a predator.

PROFILE – VICTIM IDENTIFIED AS 16-YEAR-OLD:

The deceased has been identified as Waseem Abbas, 16 years old, son of deceased father, resident of Muzaffargarh. An orphan whose father died several years ago, Waseem was sent to an Orphan House in Multan due to extreme poverty, where his cousin and several other children from his village were also living.

According to his grandfather and police, the orphanage management had handed over Waseem to contractor Tauqeer Nazir just 7 days ago to “teach him work”. The administrator confirmed the accused had earlier also taken another child from the same orphanage who is still working with him.

Another child from the same village told police: Waseem refused to work due to extremely harsh, inhuman, humiliating behaviour, continuous abuse, hours-long work without break, mental torture, and physical torture. His refusal and the contractor’s insistence on keeping him at all costs has raised many questions and other angles are being investigated.

CCTV – A TARGETED HUNT, NOT AN ACCIDENT:

Minute Mirror has obtained exclusive CCTV footage which proves it was a deliberate target killing.

– The child is walking alone in Street No. 10, Royal Orchard Society, Multan.
– A speeding car driven by Tauqeer Nazir appears.
– Waseem tries to save his life, runs left and right shouting for help, risking his life.
– The accused deliberately steers the car towards the child again and again, hunting him down like prey.
– Finally, the car hits the child with full force. The impact is so severe that the child bounces and hits an iron security grille/gate. The child was crushed between the car and the gate.

Eyewitness who called 15 said: “It was not an accident, it was intentional murder, target killing and open brutality.”

ACCOMPLICE IN RED SHIRT:

The CCTV also shows another person in a red shirt sitting in the car with Tauqeer Nazir. He has been identified as Amjad Ali, friend of main accused. Instead of taking the critically injured child to hospital, Amjad helped the driver flee from the scene. He fled immediately after the incident and is now nominated as co-accused under Section 302 PPC.

Vehicle has been impounded after seizing it from near the gate. Rescue 1122 declared death on the spot. Body was shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan mortuary for post-mortem.

ARREST:

After the incident, Tauqeer Nazir tried to escape but brave residents of Royal Orchard chased him, stopped him. The car failed to start as people gathered and snatched the keys. He was handed over to police.

CPO MULTAN’S MIDNIGHT ACTION TO ENSURE DEATH PENALTY:

CPO Multan Akhtar Farooq has taken notice and told Minute Mirror:

> “We have contacted the bereaved family in Muzaffargarh, they are on their way. Initially FIR was registered on police complaint as victim was orphan and had no guardian. Now it will be converted to family’s complaint. Medical examination of accused is being conducted. After CCTV evidence, we are converting sections from 279/320 PPC to 302 PPC. Motive is also being investigated.”

According to highly placed sources, CPO Multan himself reached the police station at night and called the Prosecutor there to ensure the challan is written so strongly that no loophole remains and the accused cannot get benefit of doubt. The aim is to ensure death penalty.

WHY STATE BECAME COMPLAINANT:

Police decided to become complainant itself considering the financial condition of the victim’s family, to prevent compromise through money, pressure, and diyat.

On the orphanage role, police said: “His own role is suspicious. Why was a child who was not willing to go there forced to be sent and kept there? We are examining role of orphanage and other children.”

It has now also been revealed that this orphanage was not even registered.

HIGH-LEVEL NOTICES:

– Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif took strict notice and assigned special task to IG Punjab and Additional IG CTD.
– Chairperson CPWB Sarah Ahmad (T.I) told Minute Mirror: “Slaps in court are not enough. The brutal killing of 16-year-old Waseem demands the strictest possible action. It is an intentional murder.” She directed CPWB Multan team to follow up and ordered investigation of the orphanage, revocation of licence and sealing if violations are found.

FAMILY AND PUBLIC:

Family said: “We were told child met an accident. When we reached Nishtar, he was already dead.”

The victim was laid to rest in his ancestral village in Muzaffargarh. Every eye was tearful. According to family and orphanage children, Waseem was a very pious, intelligent, brilliant child who loved to study and dreamed of becoming a big officer.

Residents of Royal Orchard Society are furious, saying overspeeding by influential people in big vehicles is routine, there are no speed breakers.

Case Status: Main accused on 4-day physical remand, accomplice Amjad Ali still at large – raids in Faisalabad continue, case registered under Section 302 PPC – intentional murder, vehicle in custody, prosecution preparing strong challan for death penalty.
