New Harry Potter series trailer reveals young cast and Hogwarts magic

HBO has unveiled the first trailer for its highly anticipated Harry Potter television series, offering fans a first extended look at the new generation of young wizards preparing to enter the magical world of Hogwarts. The series will adapt J.K.

Rowling’s original books across multiple seasons, beginning with the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

The trailer introduces Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley.

Their first appearances have already attracted considerable attention, as audiences compare the young actors with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who played the characters in the original eight-film franchise.

The new production also features a prominent adult cast. Nick Frost takes on the beloved role of Rubeus Hagrid, while John Lithgow plays Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Janet McTeer portrays Professor Minerva McGonagall, with Paapa Essiedu stepping into the role of Severus Snape.
