Nicola Peltz Sweetly Thanks Brooklyn Amid Family Rift

Nicola Peltz Beckham made a heartfelt tribute to her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, while accepting a Rising Star award at the Venice Film Festival, as speculation surrounding the ongoing tension between Brooklyn and his family continues to attract attention.

The Lola star received the prestigious honour at a ceremony in Venice on Saturday. Brooklyn was by her side for the special occasion and helped his wife onto the podium as she prepared to accept the award.

“Hi everyone. I am normally more comfortable playing a character as an actor than standing in front of an audience, so please bear with me,” she said.

“Thank you so much for this immense honour. To receive an award at the Venice Film Festival is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career,” she said.

The actress also used the emotional moment to acknowledge legendary Hollywood star Faye Dunaway, who was honoured with a lifetime achievement award by Kineo during the ceremony.

Nicola spoke warmly about her experience working alongside Dunaway on Prima, describing the veteran actress as an inspiration. She said learning from Dunaway had been an incredible experience and expressed her admiration for her long-standing career.

However, it was Nicola’s tribute to her family that particularly caught attention. She made it clear that the support of her loved ones has played an important role in helping her pursue her ambitions.

“My family are my everything,” Nicola said while acknowledging her parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, her brothers Diesel and Brad, and her husband Brooklyn.

She thanked them for always believing in her and credited their encouragement for helping her aim high in her career.

“To have your support is the reason I can reach to the stars in the first place,” she added.

Nicola’s parents and brother Bradley were present at the Venice event to celebrate her achievement. Her father, Nelson Peltz, was also seen trying to cope with the warm weather during the festivities, reportedly using a fan and spending some time indoors to escape the heat.
