Speaking in the Senate, Ali Zafar said Dr Noreen Niazi was being held in jail and described her situation as a matter of life and death. He urged the authorities to release her without delay.

The PTI senator also raised concerns about the treatment of Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s wife claiming that she was being kept in solitary confinement. He called on the authorities to end what he described as mistreatment and urged them to take human rights concerns seriously.

Ali Zafar stressed that fundamental rights should not be disregarded and urged the authorities to reconsider their actions. He warned that human rights could not be treated as insignificant and called for attention to the conditions faced by those in detention.

His remarks in the Senate focused on Dr Noreen Niazi’s continued detention and the reported confinement of Bushra Bibi highlighting PTI’s concerns over the treatment of the party founder’s family members.
