Pakistan bowlers dismantle UAE for 224 in U19 Asia Cup

Pakistan delivered a disciplined bowling performance to bowl out the UAE for 224 in their ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2026 encounter at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman on Friday.

After winning the toss, Pakistan captain Farhan Yousaf opted to field, and the decision paid off early as Ali Raza dismissed Omar Tauqir for just one run in the third over.

The UAE struggled to establish momentum and lost three wickets for 36 runs in the opening stages. Yayin Kiran Rai and Zainullah Rehmani then revived the innings with a 62-run partnership for the fourth wicket.

Hasnain Abbas Dar ended the stand by dismissing Rehmani for 28 off 44 balls. Rai continued his resistance but was removed by Rizwanullah after scoring 47 from 74 deliveries, leaving the UAE struggling at 127 for six.

Noorullah Ayobi subsequently launched a counterattack, producing an impressive 70 off 55 balls to lift his side towards a respectable total.

Despite Ayobi’s efforts, Pakistan maintained pressure and continued to take wickets at regular intervals. The batter was eventually dismissed on the final delivery of the innings as the UAE were bowled out for 224.

Mohammad Sayyam spearheaded Pakistan’s bowling attack with three wickets, while Ali Raza, Rizwanullah and Hasnain Abbas Dar picked up two wickets each.
