A Foreign Office delegation, led by the foreign secretary, has already reached Switzerland. They are finalising arrangements for the ceremony.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to arrive later in the day. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will also attend the event. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar are also scheduled to participate.

Security has been tightened at the venue. Authorities have made special arrangements due to the high-profile nature of the agreement.

Officials say the signing ceremony will be attended by senior representatives from the participating countries. The event is being seen as an important diplomatic development in the region.
