A severe heatwave continued to affect most parts of Pakistan, bringing extremely hot and dry conditions to many regions. Sibi emerged as the hottest city, where temperatures soared to 49°C.
Several other cities also experienced intense heat, with Noorpur Thal and Dadu recording 48°C. Temperatures reached 47°C in Okara, Bhakkar, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Khairpur, and Turbat, highlighting the widespread impact of the heatwave.
In Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and Sargodha, the mercury climbed to 45°C, while Lahore and Jhelum recorded 44°C. Peshawar and Multan witnessed temperatures of 43°C, and Islamabad registered 42°C.
Meanwhile, Muzaffarabad recorded 40°C, Quetta 39°C, and both Karachi and Gilgit reported 37°C. Skardu remained relatively cooler, with a maximum temperature of 29°C.
