PIA’s Milestone – Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner Cleared For Pakistan For FirstvTime , First Flight London to Islamabad on Oct 31

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has achieved a major milestone in its revival plan as Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft has been cleared to operate in Pakistani airspace for the first time in history.

*VERIFICATION COMPLETED AT OSLO:*

According to highly placed sources, PIA has acquired two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners from *Norse Atlantic Airways* on wet lease for UK and Europe operations.

– *Inspection Team:* Delegation led by *Director General Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Nader Shafiq Dar* inspected aircraft at *Oslo Airport*
– *First Aircraft:* Inspection completed, granted *Operational Approval for Pakistan*
– *Second Aircraft:* Inspection scheduled for *Monday at Oslo Airport*
– After inspections, both aircraft will depart for London

– *Flight Number:* PK 786
– *Route:* London to Islamabad
– *Aircraft:* Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
– *Date of Operation:* *October 31* departure from London
– *Arrival Islamabad:* *November 1* with passengers

*AIRCRAFT FEATURES:*

– *Seating Capacity:* 358 passengers
– Modern cabin, better fuel efficiency, higher quality travel facilities
– *Lease Term:* Wet lease for initial period of *6 months*

*NEW UNIFORM ALSO ON OCT 31:*

According to sources, PIA will also introduce its *new crew uniform* along with the Dreamliner launch on October 31, marking a complete rebranding for UK operations.

The addition of Dreamliners is expected to significantly improve passenger experience on London-Islamabad-London route and help PIA compete with Gulf and European carriers.
