In Islamabad, approximately 435,000 children were vaccinated and during the follow-up phase, 88% coverage of children was achieved.
Polio focal person Ayesha Raza Farooq stated that the success of the campaign is the result of the tireless efforts of polio workers. She added that continued vaccination campaigns are essential for the complete eradication of polio.
