The couple were pictured with Jenkins at London’s Dorian restaurant in Notting Hill in September, amid renewed scrutiny of Beatrice’s family. Jenkins is a former White House employee and a senior Spotify executive who has worked in public affairs and crisis communications.

It is not clear whether Jenkins has been formally hired by Beatrice or her husband. A source who knows Jenkins told the Mail on Sunday that she would be a natural person for Beatrice or other members of the York family to approach for reputational advice.

The meeting came after months of scrutiny surrounding Beatrice’s parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, and follows increased attention on the York family.

Beatrice’s younger sister, Princess Eugenie, has also been in the spotlight after the birth of her third child, a daughter named Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank. Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, welcomed the baby in Lisbon on Aug. 3.

A source quoted by Woman’s Day said Beatrice was determined not to withdraw from public life and wanted to present herself as being in a “happy, secure place” and ready for a new beginning.

The same source said Beatrice and Edoardo had sought advice before meeting Jenkins and were prepared to follow professional recommendations, although the report did not establish that Jenkins had been formally retained.

The reports come as Beatrice and Eugenie face continued public scrutiny because of their parents’ associations and past controversies. Beatrice has previously faced particular attention over her father’s 2019 BBC interview with journalist Emily Maitlis, in which he discussed his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Beatrice and Edoardo have not publicly confirmed that they are working with Jenkins or another crisis-management professional.
