Booking under Pakistan’s private Hajj scheme is currently underway with more than 64,000 Hajj seats still available for pilgrims the Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced.

According to a statement issued by the ministry’s spokesperson, bookings for private Hajj can be made through the Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal. So far around 7,600 pilgrims have completed their bookings under the private Hajj scheme.

The ministry said that 64,000 Hajj seats are still available giving intending pilgrims an opportunity to select packages according to their requirements and budget.

A total of 25 approved Hajj companies have introduced more than 2,000 different Hajj packages through the official Hajj Portal. The packages are designed to provide pilgrims with different options regarding accommodation, transportation and other Hajj-related services.

The ministry spokesperson further revealed that the 25 approved companies have received approximately Rs6.88 billion through the Hajj Portal.

The deadline for booking under the private Hajj scheme has been set for November 20. Pilgrims planning to perform Hajj are therefore advised to complete their registration and payments before the deadline.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also issued an important warning to the public regarding payments. According to the ministry private Hajj bookings and payments can only be made through the official Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal.

Pilgrims have been urged to remain cautious and avoid depositing Hajj dues with individuals or companies outside the official portal. The ministry warned that people should not transfer money to anyone claiming to arrange private Hajj bookings through unofficial channels.

With thousands of seats still available and more than 2,000 packages being offered by approved companies, prospective pilgrims can compare the available options and complete their bookings through the authorized system.

The ministry’s warning aims to protect pilgrims from potential fraud and ensure that all private Hajj bookings and payments are processed through officially approved channels.
