Reception held for team ahead of Asia Pacific Padel Cup in Manila

A reception was held in Manila in honour of the national team participating in the Asia Pacific Padel Cup. The event was attended by Punjab Sports Minister Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar and Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab Ali Dar as special guests.

Addressing the ceremony, Sports Minister Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that national athletes are ambassadors of Pakistan and the entire nation’s prayers are with them. He expressed hope that the national team would deliver an outstanding performance in the Asia Pacific Padel Cup and bring pride to the country.

He added that after Muharram, a padel tournament will be organized by Sports Punjab in collaboration with AI and a new padel court will soon be inaugurated in Sialkot. According to the minister, 14 more modern padel courts are being constructed in various cities of Punjab to provide better sports opportunities for the youth.

Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab, Ali Dar said that under the Punjab government’s AI Vision 2029, efforts are being made to promote modern technology. He added that the combination of artificial intelligence and sports will further enhance the abilities of young athletes and modern technology will be used to achieve international standards and results.
