The match between India and Pakistan drew 18,814 spectators, making it the highest-attended group-stage match in Women’s World Cup history.
The India-Pakistan women’s match was also declared the most-watched game across any format of league-stage women’s cricket in terms of digital reach.
According to the International Cricket Council, the tournament’s live digital coverage has reached 215 million viewers so far. The India-Pakistan match alone was watched by over 134 million viewers, with a total watch time of 1.1 billion minutes.
The ICC also reported a nearly 150% increase in digital views compared to the previous edition during the opening weekend. Videos related to the tournament have been viewed over 753 million times on social media.
Content shared under the ICC Creator Programme has received more than 617 million video views, while ICC TV live streaming has recorded a 75% increase in unique users and overall watch time.
