Royal newcomer praises Kate, contradicts Meghan’s claims

Catherine, Princess of Wales, has received fresh praise from a member of the royal family, with Harriet Phillips describing her as warm, approachable and someone she can turn to for personal advice.

Harriet, who married Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, earlier this year, spoke about her relationship with senior members of the royal family in an interview with Hello! Magazine.

Recalling her first meeting with Prince William, Princess Kate and their children, Harriet said she had a wonderful experience being welcomed into the family.

She explained that they first met during a holiday in the Isles of Scilly, where the children were enjoying time together by the water. Harriet described the gathering as relaxed and informal, while noting the mutual respect among family members.

Speaking about the Princess of Wales, Harriet said she considered Catherine someone she could comfortably approach for guidance. She praised her open-hearted personality and said she would feel at ease seeking her advice whenever needed.

Her positive comments have drawn attention because they contrast with claims previously attributed to Meghan Markle about her relationship with Kate and the atmosphere within the royal family.

Harriet’s remarks come months after her wedding to Peter Phillips on June 6. The ceremony was attended by King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate and several other members of the royal family.

Her comments have once again placed the Princess of Wales in the spotlight, highlighting the warm relationship she appears to share with her newer family member.
