Reacting to remarks by Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Sadia Javed said irresponsible statements against Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah would not be tolerated. She maintained that the chief minister’s recent address represented the rights and concerns of millions of people across Sindh.
Sadia Javed said the Sindh Assembly and the Leader of the House have a constitutional right to protect the interests of the province.
She further warned that Sindh would not remain silent over any discussion concerning the division of the province or any action that could harm its geographical integrity.
She said Murad Ali Shah had consistently advocated adherence to the Constitution and the strengthening of the federation.
