The two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive progress achieved during the first round of technical talks held in Switzerland. They agreed that the momentum created by the negotiations must continue through dialogue and diplomacy.
Prime Minister Shehbaz thanked the Qatari leadership for its strong support and constructive role in the peace initiative that resulted in the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding between the United States and Iran earlier this month.
