Sindh launches inquiry into Ghulam Mustafa Pirzada

The Sindh Universities and Boards Department has constituted a three-member fact-finding inquiry committee to examine the complete service record of Sukkur Board officer Ghulam Mustafa Pirzada, from his initial appointment to his current position.

According to a notification issued by the Universities and Boards Department, the inquiry committee was formed with the approval of the Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards and the controlling authority.

The committee will review Pirzada’s complete service profile and professional history from the beginning of his employment until his current post. It will also examine the legality, eligibility and procedures followed in connection with his appointments, promotions and postings to different positions.

The Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, has been appointed as convener of the committee. The Additional Secretary (STEVTA) of the Universities and Boards Department and the Registrar of Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur, have been appointed as members.

The notification stated that the committee would examine original or available service records, relevant rules and regulations, official notifications and other related documents. It may also seek additional information and records from concerned authorities whenever required.

The committee has been directed to submit its fact-finding report, containing clear findings and recommendations, to the Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards within 30 days of the issuance of the notification.

The chairman, secretary and other relevant officers of the Sukkur Educational Board have also been directed to fully cooperate with the inquiry committee and provide the required records and information without delay.

The notification was issued by Section Officer Boards Muhammad Dawood Shah on behalf of the Secretary of the Sindh Universities and Boards Department.
