Six killed in tragic crash on Coastal Highway

Six people were killed in a deadly road accident on the N-10 Coastal Highway in Ormara, Balochistan.

The accident occurred in Zone-I of Ormara when a car collided violently with a bowser. The impact was so severe that all six people travelling in the car died at the scene.

According to Coastal Highway Police SP Aslam Bangulzai, the car was travelling towards Turbat. The bowser was heading towards Karachi when the two vehicles crashed into each other.

The victims included two men, two women and two children. Police said the driver of the car was identified as Aslam.

The collision caused significant damage to the car. All its occupants were trapped in the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries.

After receiving information about the crash, a team of Coastal Highway Police immediately reached the site. Officials secured the accident area and carried out the necessary emergency response.

Police also took measures to control traffic and ensure the safety of other motorists travelling along the busy coastal route.

The authorities later cleared the affected section of the highway. Traffic movement was restored after the rescue operation.

The cause of the collision has not yet been established. Police are expected to investigate the circumstances that led to the crash.

Road accidents remain a serious safety concern on major highways, particularly routes used by heavy vehicles and long-distance traffic. The authorities are expected to examine the accident site and circumstances surrounding the collision as part of the investigation.
