Sonakshi reveals Salman predicted her love story early

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and her husband Zaheer Iqbal have revealed that Salman Khan had figured out their relationship long before they openly admitted they were dating.

The couple recently appeared on a talk show hosted by Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, where they looked back on the early days of their romance and shared some amusing memories involving the Bollywood superstar.

Sonakshi recalled that Salman Khan had introduced her to Zaheer Iqbal at one of his parties. According to the actress, the actor quickly noticed the growing bond between them, even though neither of them had publicly acknowledged their feelings at the time.

She explained that while their connection was obvious to those around them, she continued to deny there was anything romantic happening whenever Salman questioned her. Sonakshi joked that Salman was far too observant to miss what was going on and could easily sense the chemistry between them.

The actress also shared a memorable conversation she had with Salman Khan. She said he once called her aside and told her that one day the two of them might break up, and if that happened, both of them would come to him separately to share their heartbreak. Salman reportedly added that he cared deeply for both of them and would not want to take either person’s side if their relationship ever ended.

Sonakshi admitted that she and Zaheer were left completely surprised by his comments because they had never spoken to him about their relationship. She said it made them realise that Salman had understood the situation long before they were ready to acknowledge it themselves.

Zaheer Iqbal also confirmed the story, saying they had never officially informed Salman about their relationship. However, during a trekking trip together, Salman quietly hinted that he already knew what was going on.

According to Zaheer, Salman simply looked at him and remarked that everything was visible, without asking any questions or discussing the matter further. The subtle comment was enough to make him realise that nothing had escaped the actor’s attention.

Although Salman had jokingly predicted that the relationship might eventually end, his prediction did not come true. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal continued dating privately for nearly seven years. The pair later appeared together in the 2022 film Double XL before tying the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Mumbai in June 2024.
