Lahore – South Africa’s Under-19 Women’s cricket team will tour Pakistan for the first time where they will play a five-match T20 series starting on July 14.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the tour in a statement announcing that all five matches will be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
According to the PCB:
“The five-match T20 series will be played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from July 14 to 24. Match timings will be announced later.”
The board further stated that the South Africa U-19 Women’s team will arrive in Karachi on July 10 and hold training sessions at the National Bank Stadium from July 11 to 13 before facing hosts Pakistan in the opening T20 on July 14.
The PCB noted that Pakistan Women’s U-19 team last played a bilateral series in Bangladesh where they won the five-match series 3-2.
The upcoming series will serve as part of Pakistan’s preparations for the ACC Women’s U-19 T20 Asia Cup and the ICC Women’s U-19 T20 World Cup 2027.
Earlier, the PCB also organized several training camps in Karachi for U-19 players.
