Speaking on the television programme *Capital Talk*, Chaudhry said the purpose of the review petition was to obtain clarity regarding the Supreme Court’s decision. He maintained that the government would act in accordance with the court’s directions.

The federal minister also referred to the treatment of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif during his period of incarceration. He said Sharif had been shifted to government hospitals during his imprisonment and that the decision to allow him to travel abroad had ultimately been taken by the government.

Discussing Imran Khan’s medical treatment, Chaudhry said that if treatment in a government hospital was not possible under the laws currently in force, the government could consider transferring him to Shifa International Hospital or even sending him abroad for medical treatment.

His remarks come amid continued attention surrounding Imran Khan’s health and the arrangements for his medical care. The issue has also become a subject of political debate, with both government and opposition figures commenting on the matter.

Meanwhile, PTI parliamentary leader Shahid Khattak said individuals making videos outside the hospital should not be considered representatives of the party. Speaking during the programme, he said PTI had informed the court that no party worker would enter the hospital premises.

Khattak stressed that the party’s immediate priority was Imran Khan’s health and medical treatment. He said party workers had been instructed to respect the hospital’s boundaries while the former premier receives care.

The statements from both sides come as political and legal discussions continue over the Supreme Court ruling and Imran Khan’s treatment. Further developments are expected as the government’s review petition progresses and authorities determine the next steps regarding his medical care.
